Anti-Trump Ballot Access Cases Are Still Pending in At Least Sixteen States

There are many pending court cases seeking to keep former President Donald Trump off various Republican presidential primaries. States in which the original case still doesn’t have an opinion are Arizona, Connecticut, Kansas, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Woming.

States in which Trump won, but an appeal is pending, are Colorado, Florida, and Michigan.

States in which Trump won, and no appeal was filed, are California, Minnesota, and New Hampshire.

  7. Why would Trump be accountable for something that he asked people not to do and then asked to stop when a few did it anyway?

    I don’t know why AZ keeps referring to a “12th amendment” EC. The electoral college was in the Constitution before any amendments. Would AZ think it would be better if Trump was Biden’s VP, or Hillary Clinton was Trump’s VP? That might be…interesting. The secret service budget for presidential and VP protection staff and equipment would have to go up, and POTUS and VP would probably have to cut out all or most of their travel, etc. Otherwise, if the problem isn’t with the 12th amendment, why does he/it keep referring to the “12th amendment EC”? I’m already sorry I asked.

  8. There’s zero evidence of any Trump talks with anyone who engaged in illegal acts on J6. Trump told everyone to protest legally and peacefully, and then later called on the riot to stop. Asking “how many” is dishonest and wrong. There’s no comparison to Hitler, since Hitler personally participated in and led the 1923 putsch.

    Comparing Trump to Hitler is dishonest and deranged. Biden is a lot more like Hitler than Trump is, except he’s even more like Quisling, a fascist puppet dictator of another, stronger fascist dictator. The only difference between Quisling and Biden is that, as far as I know, Quisling did not suffer from senile dementia while in office.

  10. The 12th amendment fixed what most people considered to be a problem with the original Electoral College language. I don’t get the impression that you want to repeal the 12th amendment. As I understand it, you want to eliminate the Electoral College altogether. Referring to the 12th amendment is deceptive and confusing. Why not just say Electoral College like anyone else would? It’s just weird. But whatever, just keep being you. It’s not like you’re going to change, and I doubt you’re convincing anybody of anything, so it’s a waste of time either way.

  22. Nonsense. Trump is not a tyrant or monarch. Biden is a tyrant. King George was the last monarch before the revolution. Other areas subsequently added to the US had monarchs more recently – Alaska and Hawaii, late 19th century, maybe some territories slightly later.

    In the lower 48, I’m not thinking off hand of anything past the early 19th century. Spain and France lost the areas now in the USA or their monarchs by the Napoleonic and 1812 wars.

    The British monarchy claimed some small areas that may have been in Canada for a while, held claims or conflicting claims over areas added to the US by then, and competing claims to what is now the Pacific northwest with the Russian monarchy and the US as late as the 1840s, but if I remember right without looking up the US established the present borders before mid century, along with having pushed both Russian and Mexican controlled areas in California under US control before mid century.

    Mexico controlled what is now the SW US for a few decades after seceding from Spain. TX to CA, up to parts of present Wyoming. However, I’m not remembering Mexico having a monarchy after independence from Spain. I’d have to refresh my memory to be sure. I’m fairly sure by the time of the Mexican American war Mexico had a dictator, but he was not a monarch. If there was ever a Mexican monarchy, it must have been overthrown in short order, well before war with the US.

    What am I forgetting? Indian tribes? Maybe Aleutian islands occupied by Japanese monarchy in WWII? I’m sure some minor nitpicking is possible, but at worst, the present states and DC were all US states and territories by the end of the 19th century, by which time Indian wars were over as well.

    Troll moron AZ may have unique definition of monarchy. He has referred to real democracies before, for example in the first world war . Which of the combatants were real democracies then? Why or why not? Was the US ever not a monarchy on planet AZ? If so, when did it become one again and why? Which countries are real democracies now, if the US is a monarchy? What distinguishes them?

    I’m sure it’s a waste of time to ask a troll moron like AZ questions. He’s only capable of spouting nonsense and calling people who are not in fact trolls or morons troll morons just for disagreeing with him. He also loves to severely mischaracterize other people’s opinions, whether those be Trump, Trump supporters, or any number of others.

    I think the problem is troll moron AZ wants to monopolize or dominate conversations here, just because he has no life and no other hobbies or outlets, and some people won’t let him make this his monarchy, tyranny, or oligarchy.

    While it would be nice to just ignore him, he insists on jumping into conversation attempts with anyone else, intersecting his views when you ask someone else for theirs, mischaracterizing participants in the conversation, world leaders and events, history, etc, etc.

    It’s either that or he’ll bury the conversation attempt under a ton of unrelated fake news and gibberish. What is the best way to handle that?     If most democracies have been oligarchy/monarchies, who were the “real democracies” in WWI and how do we compare the record of “real democracies” vs monarchy/oligarchies, as AZ suggests elsewhere? Something has to exist to have a record, as well as a definition that allows us to figure out who all fit which group to make such comparisons possible.
