Cenk Uygur is on Democratic Presidential Primary Ballot in Three States So Far, Despite Being Born in Turkey — 14 Comments

  1. How many states was Obama, who was born in Kenya, on the ballot in?

  2. Some people also claim McCain was ineligible due to being born in Panama, even though his dad was American.

  3. PLACE OF BIRTH MEANS ZERO.

NATION-STATE ALLEGIANCE OF FATHER THE SECOND A KID IS BORN = NBC.

AFTER BIRTH CHANGE OF ALLEGIANCE BY KID AS ADULT = NATURALIZATION.

MANY NATURALIZATIONS BY LAWS/TREATIES WHEN AREAS ADDED TO USA AREA-
    OLDE NW TERR
    1803 LA PURCHASE
    1819 FL PURCHASE
    1848 MEX-AM PEACE TREATY
    ETC.

    TOO MANY SCOTUS CONLAW MORONS TO COUNT – SINCE 1789 / 1868- 14 AM-SEC 1 CITIZEN SENTENCE

  4. Obama’s father had no allegiance to the US and neither did Obama.

  5. Stop living in the 1800s. It doesn’t have to be the father. If EITHER parent is a US citizen subject to its laws, the child is a US natural-born citizen. Not only has it been proven, Alien Invaders, that Obama was born in Hawaii, there are no records of his mother traveling to Kenya before his birth.

As for Uygar, while I think the merits of his legal argument is ridiculous, it is a legitimate argument to be made: which is that the 14th Amendment, which grants ALL the rights of citizenship to everyone regardless of whether they are natural-born or naturalized, nullifies the Constitutional requirement that Presidents be natural-born.

  6. The States of Oklahoma, Texas and Vermont must be held accountable for voter fraud based on allowing Cenk Uygur on the Democrat ballot in these states. He is a “Naturalized” US citizen that is not eligible to run for President. However, he would be eligible to run for any other office as a US citizen.

  7. As for the discussion about former President Obama’s eligibility, show me in the 14th Amendment or anywhere else in the Constitution that supports that a Natural Born Citizen is not one born to two US citizen parents at time of birth. And do side step by referencing dribble provided by “Constitutional Scholars”. Instead, look to what the founding fathers who wrote the Constitution for your answer. And as further reinforcement for my argument I point to the 27 House Bills that have attempted to change the Article II requirement from Natural Born Citizen to that of Citizen. https://1drv.ms/w/s!AoWIYvAh5fHnpQXY5PEZaJp5JFTJ?e=Kw82sU

  8. Sitting Jehosaphat: “…the 14th Amendment, which grants ALL the rights of citizenship to everyone regardless of whether they are natural-born or naturalized….”

The 14th does *NOT* grant all rights of citizenship to everyone. The 14th says nothing of the equality of natural born and naturalized citizen. Nothing. The only time the word “equal” appears in the 14th Amendment is when it discusses legal protections with regard to *all persons.*

And it says literally nothing about “rights”. There is nowhere in the amendment that equal rights for anyone is addressed. The 14th disallows states from denying privileges and immunities which citizens *already have* under the federal government, within those states.

Besides that, being President is not a right. *Constitutional* qualifications for age, residency, and being natural born, for an individual to occupy a particular position in the government, don’t violate rights.

  9. George Washington was also not a natural born American, and so were other presidents for about 50 years.

  10. LOL. “Proven” by whom and how that Osama was born in Hawaii? No “records” his mother travelled to Kenya? You don’t think those records would have been destroyed or altered? What world do you live in?

14th amendment was not even properly adopted, and should be considered null and void. The idea that it did away with natural born citizenship requirements without explicitly saying so is as pernicious and laughable as the fake penumbras in the righteously rejected Roe v Wade nonsense decision, which came straight from the bowels of Lucifer himself.

To hell with the devil !!!

  11. This is my second bite at this discussion based on the comments being made. It is apparent to me that most commenters have a very low IQ of what the Constitution states or means. First let me point out that Article II clearly provides a two part eligibility to be President. 1. Those who were the founding citizens (not Natural Born Citizens) and then those thereafter who would be born of citizen parents (Natural Born Citizens). 2. Per the 14th Amendment Naturalized citizens have all the same rights as citizens (Includes even citizens born in US to undocumented aliens). The only issue that is not accorded to any 14th Amendment citizens is that none of them can become President. 3. Nowhere does is state in our Constitution a Presidential candidate can only have one citizen parent to be eligible for the office of President. However this gets obscured by our immigration laws that do mentions becoming a citizen to one us citizen parent to qualify for citizenship (Not a Natural Born Citizen). 4. THERE IS ONLY ON PLACE IN OUR CONSTITUTION THAT ADDRESSES PRESIDENTIAL ELIGIBILITY AND THAT IS ARTICLE II WHICH REQUIRES ONE TO BE A “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN”.

Also, I wish to emphasise that it is not your birth certificate that proves you eligibility to be President, it is the birth certificates or naturalization documentation of your parents that proves you are eligible to be President.
