ANY SORT OF BLOOD OATH OF/BY/FOR NO LABELS FOLKS ON DAY 1 ???
Robert Durst?
The lawsuit is not serious. Donors don’t have the right to bind the organizations they contribute to.
I thought it said Dust Brothers. They have a point.
If contributors could contract with a politician, wouldn’t that be construed as a bribe, a quid pro quo?
No lube wasn’t supposed to run a party. It was supposed to help pass bipartisan legislation. I don’t think anyone is talking about contracting a politician here.
@Jarecki2,
Robert was a brother of one of the plaintiffs.
Interesting family. I feel kinship.
Jonathan (Jody) Durst and Douglas Durst, the plaintiffs, are not brothers. They are cousins.
Robert Durst is.
The headline in the lead article is in error. The plaintiffs in the lawsuit Douglas and Jonathan Durst are _cousins_, grandsons of the founder of the Durst Organization, Joseph Durst.
Robert Durst was Jonathan Durst’s older brother, who became estranged from the family after younger brother Douglas was made head of the Durst Organization.
So, I was right.
