Did Anderson and Kafer vote for Johnson, Stein, or McMullin in 2016?
Jim Riley, Krista Kafer said on air (she’s been a radio talk show host on and off for over a decade) that she voted for Evan McMullin because she couldn’t tolerate Gary Johnson’s memory loss on Aleppo. This was after famously changing her party affiliation from Republican to Libertarian on air (during a break) after getting disgusted with one of Trump’s antics (she changed back to Republican after seeing Democrat antics during Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS confirmation hearings). I’m a fan of KK but disagree with her Trump primary ballot challenge but respect her decision.

@Libertarian in CO,
Thanks. The Washington Post article said that Anderson voted 3rd Party in 2016 and 2020, and Kafer did in 2016, but voted Trump in 2020.
I’m not sure that I’d consider McMullin a 3rd Party candidate, but he was the Unity Party nominees in 2016 in Colorado.
What else would he be?
@Egg,
I’d classify him as an independent. I just did a little more looking, and in Colorado he was listed as “Unaffiliated”. Colorado had 22 presidential candidates on the ballot in 2016. Three, including, McMullin were Unaffiliated. I’d found a source that listed him as “UN” and I has assumed that was Unity which exists in Colorado.
The Colorado Certificate of Ascertainment lists 28 candidates which probably includes 6 Write-in Candidate.
McMullin may have tried to run as the McMuffin Party, but McDuck’s may have objected.
He was on in 11 states. I think at least some of them as Better for America party or something like that.
The Washington Post may have reconstrued what they said. Anderson may have voted for Johnson who was governor of a neighboring state.
