On February 21, fifteen officers of the Minnesota Republican Party filed this request to intervene in the lawsuit Martin v Simon, A24-0216. They argue that the 2023 law, requiring extra meetings and paperwork for ballot-qualified parties, might plausibly be used to disqualify the Republican Party.

  1. I wouldn’t be surprised. Demon rats are only going after President Trump so far. But they go after third parties and independents with a vengeance all the time, as regular readers of this blog don’t have to be told.

    So, I would not be surprised if their next move shall be to disqualify the GOP as a whole and have a one party Demonrat Peoples Republic like the Luciferian commie scum they actually are and only laughably pretend they’re not.

  2. Hi, boys, girls, and gargoyles, as well as the rest of you.

    I’m an actual Communist who is working through the Democratic Party, both to eventually turn it actually communist, and to eventually make right wing fascist and capitalist parties illegal and make us a REAL Communist nation, in the real world, not just the paranoid imaginations of Reich wing racist douche nozzles.

    My favorite real world communist nation is North Korea.

    Unfortunately, the Democratic Party is currently still capitalist. I have high hopes that this can be changed over the next few years or decades. That may seem like a tall order to those of you in minor left wing parties.

    BUT, just look at all the progress that’s already been made within our Party since Sanders started running for President, which was just 8 short years ago. It may not seem like much to you, but I think it’s just a bare beginning.

    My time frame for total victory and global domination is uncertain, but I think it’s most likely somewhere between 5-50 years. I know that’s a wide range, but bear with me.

    I used to be a regular capitalist liberal. Reich wing fascists kept calling me a communist until I finally decided to look into it, and only then became one. Which was also how I became an Atheistic ceremonial nondenominational Satanist. I started out as a Unitarian who thought of myself as a liberal Protestant Christian.

    A New York state appeals court has denied an attempt by New York City leaders to implement a law that would let non-citizens vote in local elections.
    In a 3-1 ruling issued Wednesday by the Appellate Division for the Second Judicial Department, the body said the law violated the New York Constitution and Municipal Home Rule Law.
    It “must be declared null and void,” the court said in a 43-page ruling.

    According to the Trumptard Reich Wingnuts, the FBI and CIA are captured by communists like myself (!) Who knows, maybe I’m even one of them.

    According to the FBI and CIA, the FBI prosecutes crimes, not opinions, while the CIA operates internationally and against foreign targets if it operates at all within the US. I’m not sure what agency or agencies you mean by ETC, but I’m guessing it’s an umbrella for the various federal agencies which are optimistically called intelligence agencies. But according to those agencies themselves, none of them should be going after me for just holding my opinions.

    We have the public record of past illegal activities targeting prominent US left wing activists by US “intelligence” agencies. Even if that’s still going on, I’m barely even a slacktivist, and not in any way prominent in any regard whatsoever. They would have to be vastly overreaching, tremendously bored, and have unimaginably vast resources to be going after me.

    At the same time, they would have to be unbelievably incompetent, since going after me would be very easy. I’m super easy to find. If they wanted to assassinate me, I’m sure it would be child’s play for them. But if by go after you mean arrest me, for what? I’m legally expressing legal opinions.

    Maybe you mean illegally set me up to be arrested on false charges. But, again, why bother? I hold opinions which many other people also hold and express. Very few of them get assassinated, die under suspicious circumstances, get arrested with dubious charges, etc, and those tend to be much more prominent than I am (or am ever likely to become).

    Perhaps you can explain. Why do you think it’s plausible enough that any of them are “going after” me to ask how many ???

  9. AZ has posted twice since I did, maybe more by the time this posts, but didn’t reply to my question. I don’t know their preferred pronouns, so I’ll refer to them as them/they unless and until corrected by them.

    I’m a mostly heteronormative, cisgender male, predominantly heterosexually bisexual or “trysexual”, working to overcome a macho culture upbringing. I’m hoping to become more homosexual and, imaginary satanic supernatural being(s) willing, transsexual or at least nonbinary, and making frustratingly slow progress towards those goals.

    For the time being, I still like vaginas too much to stop preferring them to penises, except on myself, where, despite my theoretical commitment, I still prefer having a penis to a vagina. I’ll keep working on it. Please be patient with my slow progress.

  10. AZ also asked two questions. I don’t know whether they were aimed at me, but I’ll give them a shot.

    In 1914, we were a few short years away from the greatest victory for socialism to date at that point – the establishment of the USSR! That was an awesome time. I wish I’d been there to celebrate, and to torture and kill the capitalist and counterrevolutionary losers, legally of course. I’d be so all in!

    In 1939, we were also just a few short years from Socialist victories in central Europe and east Asia, followed by the collapse of European colonial empires and the establishment of socialist and socialist-friendly governments in the developing world.

    There were some awful setbacks more recently, but in 2024, I’m highly optimistic that we are once again on the verge of unprecedented levels of victory and world domination by international socialism. This time, I believe the workers will achieve victory in every country, including the United States, finally creating the world-wide worker’s paradise inevitably predicted by scientific socialism.

    I’m less certain of the answer to the other question, only because I don’t see how a one party socialist dictatorship of the proletariat is anything like an evil fascist regime.

    Multiple parties are a good thing in a capitalist state, because they allow scientific socialists to soften the ground and plant the seeds of socialist revolution. Fascist states can serve a purpose, oppressing the workers to the point where rising up in arms and creating a dictatorship of the proletariat becomes the only possible choice for workers.

    Multiple parties under socialism are useless or worse. Therefore, scientific socialism demands a proletarian dictatorship until a communist workers paradise is achieved. At that point, counterrevolutionaries will be completely suppressed, and even the memory of them will probably be gone.

    It will be just like John Lenin sang in Imagine: no possessions, no countries, no heaven, no hell below us. There will be no parties because there will be nothing to fight over and no differences of opinion. Resources will not be scarce. Everyone will contribute everything they can and get everything they need. There will be no more need for a government, thus no parties to run for anything.

    Comparing one party fascism and one party “commie” socialism is illogical and super stupid.

    As I already explained, it’s ridiculous to compare the late, great, sorely missed Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with the evil fascist German government under Hitler. National Socialist was a total misnomer.

    There was not anything socialist about fascist Nazi Germany. It was a very capitalist fascist evil regime which attacked the popular and ultra good proletarian dictatorship of the USSR. This was a total scumbag move, stab in the face in violation of a peace treaty.

    Every single one of the deaths in WWII was Hitler’s fault. Stalin was the good guy, a kindly and courteous gentleman known far and wide as Uncle Joe or Father Joseph. He never ordered the death of anyone who didn’t deserve it.

    It would be ridiculous, almost beyond comprehension to compare a living secular saint like Joe Stalin with a super disgusting scumbucket like Adolf Hitler. Shame on you for equating them. Like, totally.

    It’s not even accurate to call the USSR a regime. Nazi Germany was a regime. Stalin’s USSR was a government of, by and for the people. He was totes a good guy, like Honest Abe Lincoln. We need more like him!

  17. Even in Very Blue Massachusetts, the Democrats don’t always file their paperwork on time, especially for filing nominees for ward and city committees, but Secretary Galvin will just wave them right thru.

    IMO, many of these party filing requirements are unnecessary, and in violation of the spirit, if not the essence of Eu v San Francisco.
