I don’t blame him. It would have been very embarrassing.
Agree the only way you run someone is they have to be known nationally.

KENNEDY FAMILY AT WHITE HOUSE –
RFKJR – MIA
Going to go work on his permatan more.
They’re done.
Pretty much, yeah.
This reminds me of a Doonesbury strip about the Skylab space station back in 1973.
Voice from NASA (on radio): “Scot, Scot and Ted! We’ve got somebody SPECIAL who wants to talk to you!”
Astronauts: “THE PRESIDENT!”
Voice from NASA (on radio): “We were hoping we could have the president himself congratulate you, but he was a little busy this week … as was the vice-president …”
Voice from NASA (on radio): “So, men of Skylab, here to congratulate you instead, to tell you how PROUD America is of you — the LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR OF IOWA!”
Lieutenant Governor (on radio): “HI YA, BOYS! …”
Astronaut: “I bet we don’t get a parade either.”
So when No Labels is getting turned down by THE FORMER LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF GEORGIA, I wouldn’t put a lot of faith in the idea that they are going to get a big name to run for President on their ticket.
* any name.
I WET MYSELF
Yes, I really did. And forgot to use my real name again.
