Nebraska Legislature Passes Bill to Let Felons Register Upon Release from Prison

On April 11, the Nebraska legislature passed LB 20, which lets persons convicted of a felony register to vote immediately after serving their term of imprisonment. Existing law says they must wait two years after release. The vote in the Senate was 38-6. Thanks to Mike Drucker for this news.

  1. Releasing felons from prison is the problem here. Felons should be executed.

  2. Prisons don’t work and cost taxpayers money. Confinement should be limited to 1. Pretrial 2. Execution by entombment or starvation.

  3. Impalememt is a fitting punishment for felons. It’s also cost effective, since the execution implement can be hosed off and reused.

  4. Hosing off is a waste of taxpayer money. It costs water and employees time. We are executing these felons. So what if it’s not hygienic?

  5. Feeding felons to zoo animals is environmentally responsible, actually saves money on animal feed, and makes for great television or YouTube entertainment.

  6. FELONY TO BE A MEMBER OF XXX PARTY AND / OR TO VOTE FOR ANY XXX PARTY CANDIDATE AND/OR TO POST ON BAN ???
