Professor Rick Hasen Analyzes Trial of Donald Trump — 6 Comments

  1. HOW MANY FOLKS ON THE PURGE LISTS IN ALL TRUMP TRIALS ???

    JUDGES / JURIES / PRIVATE/PUBLIC PLAINTIFFS / WITNESSES / MEDIA/ ETC.

    SEE STALIN/HITLER PURGES IN 1930S.

  2. “As I explained in my LA Times piece, to make this into a felony, Trump had to be falsifying the records to further or conceal another crime. From the beginning, the NY district attorney was not that forthcoming about what those other crimes are. Eventually, the DA settled on three: violations of federal campaign finance law; a state election law, and a state tax law. The prosecutors’ emphasis has been on violation of federal campaign finance law.”

Once again, we see how campaign finance law, election law, and tax law can be used to turn civil misdemeanors into criminal offenses.

  3. It is election interference. Imagining jailing your main political opponent just months before an election so he can’t campaign or debate. Trump wasn’t charged until AFTER he declared his candidacy for 2024. There were no charges for 3 years from Nov 2020 to Nov 2023. Then suddenly Trump is arrested, what? Three times? He is hit by four different Democrat prosecutors, some of which ran on convicting Trump. Not investigating. Not indicting. CONVICTING Trump. He also gets hit by several civil suits including the one in NYC which required the Legislative to temporarily lift all statutes of limitation restrictions just to make it happen.

I’m going to laugh for decades if Trump wins in November. For. Decades. XD

  4. WZ-

SEPARATE AND UN-EQUAL GOVTS / LAWS / COURTS — USA / NY STATE

UNCON TO USE NY CTS TO ENFORCE USA LAW AND VICE-VERSA

  5. Obvious Stalinist show trials, except less competent.
