Libertarian Party Second Ballot Presidential Nomination Vote — 14 Comments

  1. None of these candidates are worth a shit. You need to nominate Trump if you want to be relevant!

  2. Ballay raised the most cash, yet didn’t make it past the first ballot. What a loser.

  3. What is the point of all this? You meet every four years to get less than one percent and make no difference. You could have nominated Trump and got a seat at the table and a commutation for Ross but instead you nominate some junky and get nothing. Are you all retarded?

  4. of note: Trump claimed on Truth Social that he couldn’t file for the LP nomination (which he would have won bigly, of course) because of a GOP rule against accepting another party’s nomination. Not true. He was the AIP nominee in CA in 2016, and Conservative in NY in 2016, 2020, and probably again this year.

  5. The LP has that rule. Maybe he made a typo. He’s also not an LP member, is registered Republican, and did not submit paperwork.

  6. @Ronald Trump
Yes, but then they would have been guilty of nominating Trump. Spike Cohen gave a great speech about how the LP selling out its members for a place at Trump’s table would make them even worse than the GOP, because the GOP at least is guaranteed to get what it wants from selling out its members.
