Ohio Legislature Passes Bill for a Later Certification Deadline for Parties to Certify their National Tickets

On May 31, the Ohio Senate passed HB 2.  The bill is now through the legislature and on its way to the Governor.  It moves the deadline for qualified major parties to certify their presidential and vice-presidential candidates from 90 days before the election, to 65 days, but only if one of the major parties notifies the state in advance that it will need the later deadline.

  1. MINORITY RULE GERRYMANDERS IN ALL 50 STATE LEGISLATURES

    1/2 X 1/2 = 1/4

MUCH WORSE PRIMARY MATH – ABOUT 5-12 PCT MINORITY RULE HACKS

    BRAIN DEAD COURTS / MEDIA
    —-
    NO PRIMARIES

    APPV
    TOTSOP

  2. Only if they really want to 100% ensure he gets a second term, as opposed to the current 99%. The people behind the banana republic kangaroo court lawfare persecutions and Stalinist show trial conviction of President Trump are probably not that dumb. He will remain free on appeal since they want to at least maintain the illusion in large parts of the public mind that we still have a free country with free elections, free press, etc.

  3. If they can’t certify 90 days before the election, they will regularly miss the 65 day deadline too. And they’ll go through exactly this same song and dance again and again. The problem isn’t that the deadline is too early, the problem is that the lesson they are being taught is that they will always get away with missing deadlines.

  4. They always have before, so why would they expect otherwise? The rules have always been, and remain for the ruled, not the rulers.

  5. PREZ/VP CANDIDATES DEADLINE OBVIOUSLY DAY BEFORE PRINT BALLOTS SUPER-DEADLINE

  6. Ballots are the problem here. No deadlines with standing counts.
