    When a group of farmers in Western Pennsylvania decided that they were taxed enough already, President Washington rode at the head of the United States Army to make them pay their taxes. George Washington was willing to use deadly force against United States citizens who did not pay their taxes.

    I think that not just a portion of money should be taken by the Federal Government. I think ALL the money and property of the present owners should be taken from them. The Democratic Party disagrees with that.

  34. It’s not hypocritical at all. The first stage of the Revolution is that the Working Class throws out the present Ruling Class and becomes the new Ruling Class. Millions of Workers lives will become much better and the present Landlords, Business Owners, and Share Holders lives will become much worse.     Stalin betrayed the Revolution and killed all the old Bolsheviks who worked side by side with Lenin so no one could check his deviation from Marxism.     When I pointed out that life under Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara was worse than life is under Kim Jong-Un, it was with the implicit universal understanding of what life is like in North Korea today: better than under Kim Jong-Il and certainly far better than under Kim Il-Sung, but still horrible for everyone other than elites who can manage to escape the constant Stalin-esque purges.

    Another point I was making, is that there is hardly a better example of communists with a cult of personality than the Kims, who Juche even claims personally put the sun, moon and stars in the firmament… “Scientific” socialism, my ***.

    I don’t live there for two main reasons. One, I have responsibilities to other people – family, friends, neighbors – and animals and plants for which there is no one to step in and take over for me. My roots are here, as a Native my ancestors and their spirits are here, my children and grandchildren are here. My work is here.

    Two, it doesn’t help the prospects of global workers revolution if vanguard revolutionary workers all move to the vanguard revolutionary nation. We need to liberate workers everywhere for that, and to do that we must be everywhere

    The ants are an amazing species, and their colonies are a great model for human society going forward. Bees are also quite excellent.

    The basis of counterrevolutionary appeal is greed, and individual greed is not on the interests of society. Furthermore, given the level human technology has reached, it’s a threat to every other species making up our Mother Earth.

    Appealing to antisocial individuals is a losing strategy for human and biospheric survival, much like appealing to malignant cancer cells. If they don’t serve the interests of the whole, they must be eliminated, not coddled.
