Oregon Republican Party Asks Secretary of State to Exclude All Libertarian Party Nominees from November Ballot — 42 Comments

  1. HOW MANY D/R AGENTS/SPIES ARE SCREWING UP LP NOMINATIONS ???

HOW MANY LP MISES FACTION FOLKS ARE SUCH D/R AGENTS/SPIES ???

  2. About 10 years back the Oregon LP was full of drama which got a lot of IPR coverage. Did that get worked out for good?

  3. Keeping child abuse supporters Chase Oliver off the ballot is a win for America.

  4. Chase Oliver is a dirty commie. He wants to groom children and silence speech.

  5. It’s not the business of any political party to tell another political party how run themselves.

  6. Funny that this letter would be sent PRIOR to the LPO nominating / submitting their candidates. Also funny that according to FEC reports in 2011 – this is the very same firm that represented the LPO / National Libertarian Party. I wonder who is footing the bill this time?

  7. Funny that commie retard Kraus is so desperately trying to stay relevant. You were fired for a reason, loser.

  8. Good question, Robert. If true, it may point to once again internal faction dispute are being funded and instigated by political parties that seek to prevent the rise of a rival Libertarian Party to compete for even 2nd place or role of opposition party (Democrat’s control Oregon).

  9. There’s no doubt the evil commie Sarwark part of the LP, of which Kraus is a part of, is funded by outside sources, not actual libertarians. Chase Oliver is part of this too. This is one reason why Kraus was fired.

  10. Is it “child abuse” if a person under-age 18 is allowed to ski, or ride a horse, or learn to scuba? Because if anything goes wrong with those activities, an individual may die, or become a paraplegic. So if the government has a law forbidding underage individuals to do those activities, are libertarians in favor of such laws?

  11. There’s a difference between skiing and intentionally mutilating your body and regretting it. A child cannot make that kind of decision. Chase Oliver supports child abuse, plain and simple.

  12. A teenager can make that decision, and it often is extremely beneficial. My own family is my basis for knowing that. Do you know any trans people? Why not try to learn before you come to such harsh conclusions?

  13. Unless that teenager is 18 or 19, they cannot make that decision. They should go to therapy to see what is wrong with them.

  14. We don’t allow minors to drink, smoke, own guns, drive (below a certain age), have sex, or do any number of other things because they’re minors and not mature enough to make those decisions. So why would we allow them to transition?

  15. Minors in many states can start to drive at age 15. That doesn’t mean they can get their license at 15, but it means they can be driving because otherwise how could they learn? Also it isn’t illegal for minors to smoke or drink; it is illegal for people to give or sell them cigarettes and beverage alcohol, which is not the same thing. And it not illegal for minors to use a gun.

  16. Richard Winger is wrong again. Why do you support hurting our children so strongly?

  17. I wonder how many other state Gops will use this strategy and how many will succeed..

  18. In the future, everyone will be forced to transition. Except newcomers.

  19. @Richard Winger
Having different age restrictions for driving, gun ownership, taxation, voting, standing for office, military service, jury duty, alcohol consumption, tobacco consumption, consensual sex, tattoos and piercings, etc. is one of the most backwards things. Either the brain is fully developed or it isn’t. And yes there can be differences between individuals, but that’s no way to legislate. But ones brain cannot be developed sufficiently to vote but not sufficiently to, say, buy a gun or drink bourbon. It’s ridiculous.

  20. Hippy cuscus: because he is a demon sent by Satan straight from hell to embarrass, defame, and sully the name of libertarians. Real libertarians support Trump, who is the greatest libertarian of all time as well as the second coming of Jesus.

  21. Oregon candidate here – It should be made clear that the complaint by the ORP has nothing to do with Chase Oliver and everything to do with libertarian candidates challenging ORP incumbents in battleground races. As a third party we have an opportunity to change the course of the race. These are very tight margins. The ORP is throwing a fit because instead of running liberty candidates they continue to push terrible candidates who fuel the warmachine and they are going to lose because of us. We will continue running against establishment goons until liberty improves.
