Challenge to Maine Petition for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is Withdrawn — 4 Comments

  1. If only it was actually unresponsive. Well, generally speaking it is. It generates output, not actual conversation.

  2. Why are Democrats dropping petition challenges against Kennedy? They have finally realized that polls say that with Biden out of the race, the majority of RFK Jr. supporters are anti-Trump Republicans. Kamala Harris rebuffed Kennedy’s attempt to meet with her to discuss trading his endorsement for a cabinet position. Trump has done the same thing. Richard Winger has wasted his money and time working tirelessly for a presidential candidate who has tried to sell out his supporters and his “campaign” to leverage it for a job. Bobby is a joke and Winger has again been duped.

  3. They’re dropping the challenges because it looks to them like Harris is pulling away and Kennedy is swirling down the toilet bowl towards the hole on his own and is no longer a threat. The second part seems pretty solid, but Harris momentum may or may not be lasting. Even a very weak Kennedy campaign could still make a difference when you consider that the 2016 and 2020 margins in the states which swung those elections added up to 5 figures out of 9 figures of voters – i.e. fractions of 1%. But, even then the chances of Kennedy votes being distributed perfectly enough to make the difference are negligible.
