U.S. Senator Bob Menendez Withdraws his Independent Candidacy in New Jersey

On August 16, U.S. Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, who had been re-elected as a Democrat in 2018, withdrew his name from the November 2024 ballot.  He had been running as an independent candidate this year.

  1. You might mention that he is a convicted felon who already resigned. But I guess you don’t want real world news to ever intrude here, huh?

  2. He needs to be ready in case the demon rats have to pull another substitute on the vp pick.

  3. Term Limits NY–that is something I can’t understand. More of them leave the race when they hit the first speed bump. They need to look at it as not a 100 yard dash, it’s a marathon. A defeat today can be turned into a victory tomorrow.
