The Arizona independent presidential petition deadline was Saturday, August 17. Cornel West collected approximately 100,000 signatures but decided not to file them. At least one of his presidential elector candidates says she never volunteered to be a candidate for elector, and her signature appears to have been forged on the declaration of candidacy. Another West elector attempted to have his name removed. He said an angel appeared at his door. He also said that he had agreed to be West’s elector when the expected Democrat candidate was Biden. Now that Harris will be the nominee he has changed his mind.
The incompetence mounts.
Claudia and especially Dr. Stein are definitely better at running for president than him.

This is definitely in my wheelhouse.
It sounds like he contracted to have the petitions prepared and circulated and that the contractor did shoddy, unethical, illegal work. I expect there will be a lawsuit about whatever funds were paid in advance. West is learning some hard lessons about running a national campaign.
At the West volunteer sign up page, you’re required to sign an NDA. I quickly pivoted to Stein…
^OMG, as a Dr. Stein supporter, I didn’t know that Dr. West required NDAs from his volunteers. Yet another bad look for him (as if his constantly attacking Dr. Stein didn’t already make her look like the bigger person and make him look bad enough already)
For an intellectual, he sure is dumb.
