On September 5, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr removed his name from the Wyoming ballot. See this short news story.
Wyoming is as far away from being a swing state as any state in the nation, at least among Republican states. In 2020 Trump received his highest vote percentage (69.9%) in Wyoming.
Such an odd decision
He did the same in Utah, he’s up to 12-14 states withdrawn, what happened to “10 swing states”?
How many times do I have to keep reminding you that I starved to death?
I received a email from him asking that even in blue or red states please vote for Trump. So clearly he changed his mind
Wish he would withdraw from Kansas
Kennedy is leading the way. All candidates must withdraw so we can elect Trump by acclaim. Or at least leave Kampala as his only opposition so he can win with 88.14% of electoral votes.
It appears Kennedy is pushing more and more for Trump and less and less for forcing a tie in the electoral college. However, he does know that many of his supporters won’t get the news that he dropped because the media won’t report on it.
He’s probably dropping from safe red states in an attempt to get the mainstream media to “brag” that Trump and Kennedy aren’t confident that Trump can win states like Wyoming.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Kennedy is just trying to cause an uproar so that more people hear that he’s backing Trump now.
“However, he does know that many of his supporters won’t get the news that he dropped because the media won’t report on it”
You should tell David. He thinks the news that Kennedy dropped out broke the internet.
While you’re at it, tell Nun A. She doesn’t believe yet that Kennedy dropped out, or at least isn’t fully convinced. Of course, she also smears hallucinogens on broomstick handles before using them to masturbate, like all nuns, so maybe that explains it.
David overestimates how closely people pay attention. People like us watch the news, watch commentators on YouTube/Locals/Rumble, and scroll Twitter/Facebook.
The vast majority of people don’t pay that close attention. They might listen to one commentator or watch one show every day, maybe just have a conversation or two with someone at church or at the store.
By pulling out of a solid red state, it can cause a new set of ripples through the country/news/culture/population/etc. Someone who wants to vote may not look up the candidates until the day before the election. If someone finds out Kennedy endorsed Trump on November 4th, they may be so turned off by the idea that they don’t vote.
However, if Kennedy makes enough noise, someone who doesn’t pay attention may get the news early enough so that they have time to adjust to the idea or maybe go out and read Trump’s actual policies or look up why Kennedy endorsed Trump and what Kennedy had to say about it. Kennedy may just be setting off as many fireworks or flares to get his voters to notice what’s going on.
As for Nun A., I guess I’m sorry that happened to her?
Exactly.
