On September 9, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., appealed to the State Court of Appeals, in his attempt to get off the Wisconsin ballot. The trial court had kept him on the ballot, against his wishes. Kennedy v Wisconsin Elections Commission. Here is his brief.
Kennedy is probably spending more money to get off the ballot now than originally to get on it.
He should appeal on 13th Amendment grounds.
So, what position does RFK Jr hope to get in the next Trump Administration? Health and Human Services?
Make America Healthy Again Czar.
Summary from Dr. David Gorski’s commentary 2 days ago on the pros and cons of RFK Jr.’s ideas about health care: “His proposals to do that range from semi-reasonable to outright quackery.”
And why should we believe Gorski?
@Walter Ziobro
That would be the best job for him, in my opinion.
But despite Trump asking “to enlist [Kennedy] in his administration”, it’s not certain yet that the latter will get any cabinet position if the former wins the election. Much less hold onto it for any amount of time.
Kennedy has recently said that he and Tulsi Gabbard are going to be on Trump’s “transition committee” picking the people who will govern, though.
A position with real power but not requiring congressional approval might be better for his aims. I’m not counting on Trump following through. It’s possible, but far from guaranteed.
