The Green Papers has this chart showing not only which presidential candidates are on the ballot in which states, but which candidates have declared write-in status in each state.
The editors of the Green Papers constantly update this chart. The chart will continue to change, as states process filings for write-in status. Sometimes the deadline has passed to file for write-in status, but the state still hasn’t processed the filings. For instance Jill Stein has filed for write-in status in New York but the state still hasn’t approved it.
As to ballot status itself, the unknowns are: (1) Cornel West in Pennsylvania; (2) Jill Stein in Ohio.
How do you correctly write in a candidate? In New York? Do you need to write something like “Electors for XXXX for President and Electors for XXXX for Vice President”.
A bit off topic. But I admire the success that PSL candidate Claudia De la Cruz has had in ballot placement this year. I think that so far she’s had the most successful third party run of 2024 when considering expectations.
I love The Green Papers, but I wish it would cite its sources for this report.
The Green Papers sources are state government election offices.
