Georgia Democratic Party Endorses a Write-in Candidate for U.S. House, Eleventh District

At the May 21, 2024 Georgia primaries for Congress, the Democratic race for U.S. House, Eleventh District, was won by Katy L. Stamper, even though her views on immigration are more conservative than even the Republican incumbent in the district. Georgia has open primaries.

Now, the Democratic Party is so opposed to the views of Stamper that it has recruited and endorsed a write-in candidate for that same seat. See this story.

  1. They must have seen polling showing the Democrats winning some other seats the lost in 2022.

  2. BOTH LARGER STATIST GANGS BLOWING UP INTO SMALLER FACTIONS ???

    LEFT-CENTER-RIGHT FACTIONS

    2 X 3 = 6 ???

  3. @ tlny

Nope. This has nothing to do with polling. They want to dissociate from her views.

    @ az

Also nope. She’s just not a Democrat and they don’t want anyone thinking she is regardless of what the ballot says.

  4. This is one case where nobody should vote big D. In fact, she should be off the ballot and punished for impersonating a Democrat.

  5. The same party that cancelled its’ voters choice as its presidential nominee is now telling its voters they can’t vhe the candidate they want for the House. The party of the people!
