Too Late to Remove Expansion of Medical Marijuana Initiative from the Ballot in Arkansas, but State Supreme Court Orders Votes to Not Be Counted — 6 Comments

  1. There seem to be a number of issues and candidates where courts and election authorities are ordering that votes NOT be counted for items on the ballot. It is possible under law for private groups to request access to the ballots to count and report those votes, even if they may be of no electoral effect?

  2. I don’t see a private group being given access to the ballots. But they might manage to have a court order tellers to keep count and report the results purely for statistic purposes.
