  1. The Guam winner has been the national winner in every election from when Guam started voting for President in 1980 to 2020. Therefore, Kamala Harris will be POTUS 47.

Harris wins narrow plurality. Votes for Kennedy cover the spread.

There were 480 overvotes. Some voters like voting for more than one candidate, even without approval voting.

There were 1592 undervotes. I expect that there will be a lot of blanks in this election.

  2. Puerto Rico was the deciding issue of the election. We are not garbage, unlike Trump and his supporters!

  3. “The Guam winner has been the national winner in every election from when Guam started voting for President in 1980 to 2020. Therefore, Kamala Harris will be POTUS 47.”

From the other article here about Guam:
“Guam has always voted for the winner except in 1980 and 2016.”

So, according to this, Guam didn’t pick the winner the last time Trump won.

  4. Reagan won Guam and nationally in 1980. This will be the second election Guam results predict incorrectly.

  5. However you interpret Guam’s past voting record, I think that the take away from today’s vote is that this election is thisclose, and that 3rd party candidates could very well cover the spread in the swing states.

  6. We could be looking at a 269-269 tie in the electoral college, with House delegations split 25-25, and the Senate split 50-50.

The odds are small, but if it is ever going to happen, this is the year.

  7. And, before anyone starts complaining about the electoral college, let me be the first to say that without the electoral college, this year’s election would be total chaos. Bad as it is, the electoral college provides some structure and a path to resolution that a totally popular vote election under these conditions would not.

  8. I am going out on a limb and predicting that, as in Guam, neither Trump nor Harris will get 50% of the overall popular vote. In that sense, Guam will, once again, prove to be a bellwether.

  9. They should make it a rule that if there’s an electoral college tie the Guam popular vote winner becomes President.

  10. IMO, both major parties could have done better with different candidates, but their core constituencies decided to gamble and make this a core base versus core base election in the hope that they could win with just their core bases because the opposition candidates are viewed negatively by those who are not part each party’s core base. The cynical bastards who run each major party are to blame for this.

  11. “They should make it a rule that if there’s an electoral college tie the Guam popular vote winner becomes President.”

What if neither candidate gets 50%, like today? Should Guam have a run-off? What about all those over voters? Should they be allowed to cast approval votes?

  12. WILL GUAM RESULTS BE A FOOTNOTE IN 2024 FEC REPORT ???

  13. LARGE NUMBERS OF USA MILITARY NOW IN GUAM — FORWARD ICBM DETECTION BASE OF RED CHINA AND N. KOREA MACHINATIONS

HOW MANY VOTING ABS – IN THEIR HOME STATES / BASES IN THE 50 STATES/DC ???

  14. They should make it a rule that there will always be an odd number of total electoral votes, so that there cannot be a tie in a two-way race, unless there is a faithless elector. How many electoral votes would Puerto Rico get if they became the 51st state? That might solve the problem. Of course, they would also have to expand the total number of seats in the House of Representatives, so that Puerto Rico would not take any representatives (and electoral votes) away from any other state.

I just hope that no matter who wins this presidential election, they don’t act as if they have a clear mandate. These election results (and tonight’s results) tell us that neither of these clowns is popular enough to get an actual majority, not even a slim one.

  15. VERY LITTLE CHANCE FOR PUERTO RICO TO BECOME A STATE UNLESS TOTAL CONTROL IN DC BY COMMIE DONKEYS.
