Almost Three Million Fewer Voters Participated in 2024 Presidential Election Compared to 2020 Presidential Election

In the 2020 presidential election, 158,407,383 votes were cast for presidential candidates. In the 2024 election, now that all votes have been counted, we can know that only 155,627,481 votes were cast for president. So the decline was 2,779,902 votes.

This is the first time that the number of votes cast for president has dropped since the pair of elections 2008-2012. Like 2024, 2012 also saw a drop compared to four years earlier.

Unfortunately, all election return data for United States presidential elections is flawed. That is because some states don’t report the number of write-in votes cast for candidates who hadn’t filed to have their write-ins counted.

    Trump’s plan to end birthright
citizenship could be decided by the Supreme Court

Donald Trump’s team is crafting an executive order to end birthright citizenship for the children of undocumented immigrants, a monumental move the president-elect’s allies say is a key step in their long-term strategy: getting the issue before the Supreme Court.

The effect of Trump’s order would be to exclude the children of undocumented immigrants and short-term visitors to the U.S. from the right to citizenship by birth that is established under the 14th Amendment.

And while there are few details on what exactly he would do and how sweeping the action would be, immigration restrictionists say Trump could do several things, including directing the State Department to refuse to issue passports to children without proof of the parents’ immigration status or the Social Security Administration to withhold Social Security numbers.

invaders have NOOOOOO USA *birthright citizenship* — fathers of invaders are N-O-T USA citizens – natural born or naturalized.

Kids at birth second get nation-state status of fathers.

VARIOUS USA AREAS WERE INVADED AND OCCUPIED BY JAP REGIME IN WW II.
SOME JAP MEN BROUGHT WIVES FROM JAPAN TO SUCH AREAS AND HAD KIDS.
SUCH KIDS OBVIOUSLY DID N-O-T BECOME USA CITIZENS.

  6. The blue states need to pass universal vote by mail and they need to combine the local elections with the even year midterm elections. These 2 reforms will boost voter turnout, save multi-millions of tax dollars, and result in more women and minorities to local offices. Citizens in those states that allow citizens to put issues on the ballot should do so. After Trump’s administration the nation as a whole should pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and other voting rights legislation.
