Justin Trudeau Resigns and Says His Biggest Regret Was Not Enacting Electoral Reform

Justin Trudeau announce on January 7 that he will step down as Prime Minister of Canada. He said in that announcement that his biggest regret was not presiding over electoral reform for Canadian federal elections, such as Ranked Choice Voting of Proportional Representation.

The Liberal Party will choose a new leader, and that individual will be the new Prime Minister. There will be a general election sometime in 2025. See this story.
