U.S. House Passes Bill to Make it More Difficult to Register to Vote

On April 10, the U.S. House passed HR 22 by a vote of 220-208. It makes it more difficult to register to vote, by requiring new applicants to submit documents that prove citizenship. Here is the Text.

A similar bill in the Senate, S128, has made no headway so far.

  1. I am so happy I voted for Trump. He’s deporting the illegals, he’s fighting the globalists, he’s fixing the economy. He’s awesome.

  2. Having documentation of citizenship is necessary for getting a drivers license or passport or flying on a commercial aircraft.

  3. Jim, I read that certain non-citizens can get American drivers licenses or state IDs, including with the REAL ID star.

    The basis of your residency (e.g. citizenship or permanent residency is established when you get the drivers license).

    If you register using a driver’s license your citizenship can be checked.
