Tennessee Libertarian Party Has Found Legislators to Sponsor a Bill Easing the Party Petition

The Tennessee Libertarian Party has found legislators willing to introduce a bill next year to ease the petition for a party to get on the ballot.  The law is so strict, no new party has qualified by petition since 1968 in Tennessee.

  4. This sounds like great news for greater voter choice in TN. Alt parties can hopefully band together again & achieve this in other states, and reverse the sometimes doubling of petition signature requirements that was sneakily introduced in some states’ noble-sounding voting rights legislation
