U.S. District Court Cancels Oral Argument in California Top-Two Case

Late on August 15, U.S. District Court Judge Maxine Chesney canceled the hearing in Peace & Freedom Party v Weber, n.d., 3:24cv-8308. She will rule on the pleadings. This is the lawsuit on the California top-two system. Here is the order.

  13. The Demorats can’t win a gerrymandering race to the bottom because “their” states are already more gerrymandered than the opposition’s.

    If you compare states like CA, NY, NJ, MA, IL etc with states like TX, FL, OH, etc, their house maps are much more skewed against their registered voter by party and or most recent presidential race results.

    So, let’s say CA redraws their maps to give the DIMS 5 more advantage seats in response to TX doing the same for the GOP. If TX raises the ante, it’s got more room to keep raising it than CA does. The same is true nationally.

    And that’s before you correct for the atrocious 2020 bad joke of a census, which may well be corrected by next year.

    Game – Set – Match, GSMs and dim rats, lol. Give it up and go to hell already. Or don’t, and just prolong your suffering in this life before you’re tortured forever in the next. Either way, GOD/GOP wins.

    Maybe the 70, 60 or 50+ can remember better every time their voting district was redrawn gving them a new to them representative in Sacramento or Washington?
    Remember and vote for someone who will actually represent them in the state or national capitol.

  17. Pig Farmer is exactly on point. We must make America American again. 80+ year olds can actually remember the real America, not just hear or read or otherwise learn about it. Especially those of us who are blessed by God to be White Christian crackers from the rural deep South.

    Cracker is not a slur, the original crackers were America’s first cowboys who went south and west into what was then the frontier 200+ years ago , SW GA and N FL.
