California Redistricting Bills Signed

The California legislature passed three bills on August 21, a package to ask voters if they wish to approve new U.S. House districts. Governor Gavin Newsom then signed the two bills that needed his signature.

The Texas legislature will almost certainly pass redistricting bills for U.S. House in the evening of August 21.

  1. That’s not an answer. Eating pets and Gwar aren’t the same thing, even though Gwar probably does eat pets.

  2. I agree with the Governator that Newsom is now fully engaged in a race to the bottom. But at least Californians get a vote. Tell the gerrymanderers it matters now more than ever to stand for principles, not politics.

Here in Texas, we get bupkus from the strong-arming GOP and the weakling Dems who stand for nothing unless it benefits them.

Independent voter revolt is overdue. Thanks for all you do, BAN!

  3. The race to the bottom isn’t on equal footing, since demon rats have been gerrymandering far worse already. Thus, they don’t have nearly as much track left.
