Adelita Grijalva is Sworn In as a Member of the U.S. House

On November 12, Adelita Grijalva was sworn in as a member of the U.S. House. She had been elected in a special election in Arizona in September.

Her lawsuit is not necessarily moot, because if she wants, she could carry on the lawsuit on the basis that she was improperly denied her congressional salary for the past six weeks.

04:08:49 PM The House received a message from the Clerk.

The Clerk transmitted to the House a copy of a letter received from the Honorable Adrian Fontes, Arizona Secretary of State, indicating that, at the Special Election held on September 23, 2025, the Honorable Adelita Grijalva was duly elected Representative in Congress for the Seventh Congressional District, State of Arizona.

ONE MORE FOOTNOTE RE USA H REPS HISTORY.

  3. Denying a duly(?) elected Representative official status could be a criminal act or at least grounds for impeachment and removal from office of the Speaker. No statute of limitations for current officeholders. Was Speaker Johnson acting on the advice (orders) of Trump? If so, grounds to impeach and remove both.

  4. Too bad Liberator Trump is not a tyrant. At least the AZ 666 SPAMBOT would be deprogrammed if he was.
