The Libertarian Party is not listed on the District of Columbia voter registration form, because it has not been a qualified party since November 2022. People who want to register into an unqualified party must check the “other” box and write in their choice. However, Libertarian registration in D.C. has risen this year. It was 1,326 in June 2025 and is now 1,734. These figures were obtained using a Freedom of Information request to the D.C. Board of Elections.

There is no need for a constitutionally qualified voter to declare ANY party affiliation in order to vote. Parties can qualify their members as a private organization. IF voters are compelled to reveal a party affiliation, then they can write-in the party, any party, voluntarily like the D. Frank Robinson Party. Political parties should not be government regulated fascist agencies.

Party affiliation should be declared by where voters stand with their party at the end of the evening when the votes are counted using the standing count method, or as a backup, when they verbally record their vote with voting officials. All voting should be by party only, no candidates. Winning party picks officeholders.
Voters should not be required to cast spells (read and write) to vote. Among the younger generations that’s increasingly rare, and within a couple of generations only a very small minority will even know their ABCs at all. A majority of the young voting-eligible population is already functionally postliterate, and the rate of postliteracy is growing at a growing rate – a trend which will only accelerate.
Why should they run Trudeau? Is he a libertarian? Does he want to run for president?

Despite the spambot’s nonsense, the growing numbers – soon to be an overwhelming majority – of young people who are postliterate are not for the most part morons, just as most people were not morons back before the now ending era of widespread literacy.
If we are to count supporters of tyranny, the highly literate and overeducated are prominent among their ranks.
