On February 12, an Arkansas state trial court struck down a 2023 law that makes it more difficult to qualify a statewide initiative. King v Jester, Pulaski County Circuit Court, 60cv-23-1816. The law said signatures must come from at least 50 counties. However, the state Constitution already required signatures from at least 15 counties. The decision says the Constitutional limit of 15 counties does not permit the legislature to require a higher number of counties. Here is the 15-page decision.

Compare TRUMP to say Maduro. Under Maduro opposition were put wholesale in secret prisons, disappeared, opposition voices were silenced. The vast majority of the population was driven into severe poverty and millions of people fled the country in all directions. Election results were ignored as Maduro stayed in office.
