Jon Fleischman has this article in the Orange County Register about how Democratic interest groups manipulate the California top-two system. He says in the gubernatorial race, public employee unions, which have a great deal of spending power, will boost one of the two leading Republicans and depress support for the other leading Republican. Their goal is to get one Democrat and one Republican on the general election ballot. They are confident the Democrat would win. They do not like the idea of two Democrats being the only names on the November ballot.

  2. People who are suggesting that AOC is a total moron because she thinks Venezuela is below the equator are wrong. While it is in fact true that it’s north of the equator, orientation of maps with north at the top is a social construct. A map with the south pole on top is no less accurate than one with the north pole on top:

    You will notice that on this map Venezuela is in fact below the equator, just as AOC said.

    Kudos to the wise stateswoman AOC for today’s geography lesson.

  6. Richard Winger needs to stop enabling further assassination attempts against President Trump through his policy of allowing the spambot to keep calling the President a “tyrant” and censorship of questions which illustrate how absurd that is.

    Tyrants often get assassinated, as they should. Allowing Liberator Trump to constantly be slandered and libeled as a “tyrant” is directly encouraging more assassination attempts against our wonderful President.
