The North Carolina Libertarian Party’s ballot access lawsuit is set for a trial on April 2, 2007, in state court in Raleigh. Earlier this year the State Board of Elections had tried to get the court to eliminate this trial, but the Board lost that motion.
Richard,
Can you set forth what the specific issues are in this case and whether there is anything the Constitution Party or other parties can do to be helpful. I feel a little stupid that I am not familiar with this case as North Carolina is one of the most problematic states in the nation for ballot access.
Thanks!
You can find info on the suit, including court documents, here: http://www.lpnc.org/lawsuit/index.html
