National Popular Vote Plan Bill Passes Vermont Senate on Second Reading, 20-10

On February 22, the Vermont Senate passed SB 31 on second reading, by a vote of 20-10. The bill will probably receive third reading in the Senate on or by February 25. SB 31 is the National Popular Vote Plan bill.

  1. NPV: The only way to bring any semblance of democracy to electing the American president. If this passes, then we can all turn to eliminating the blinding, disabling barriers to minor-party and independent campaigns.

    UN-equal ballot access laws.
    Minority rule gerrymanders.
    Plurality nominations and elections.
