  1. California? I thought the Democrats were meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina for this.

  2. That’d be funny were it not so horribly misguided. The Democrats are a statist corporate party, far removed from being Socialists.

  3. Richard,
Any word on weather the Communist Party is running candidates or are they still satisfied with the Democrats having adopted their platform? I remember a few years ago they were on record as actually saying this.

  4. I never hear anything at all about the Communist Party interested in running its own candidates.

  6. The current “Communist” Party is controlled by right-wing social-democrats that cheerlead for Obama’s Neocon regime. That is why they do not run any candidates.

  7. The Constitution Party’s presidential nominating convention is scheduled for around Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Nashville.

  8. The Constitution Party National Convention is scheduled for April 18-21, 2012 in Nashville, TN.

I do look forward to the time when we will schedule our national conventions from Monday-Thursday as do the DEMS and GOPS. It is hard enough for us to battle for media attention as it is, without putting our most important convention events (like the Presidential nomination and/or the Presidential nominee’s acceptance speech on Friday and Saturday evenings which are deadly for news coverage.

Obviously the reason our National Conventions have always included weekends is to encourage attendance from the rank and file who might have a difficult time taking the whole week off. Never seems to stop DEM and GOP delegates though, does it?

  9. I don’t see the Socialist Workers Party in New York any more, but I do see the Green Party.
    Same people, anyone?
