On August 17, Magellan Polls released a New Hampshire Republican presidential primary poll: Mitt Romney 36%, Rick Perry 18%, Ron Paul 14%, Michele Bachman 10%, all others at or below 3%. See more detail here. The poll sample consisted of 70% registered Republicans, and 30% registered independents who told the pollster they intend to vote in the Republican presidential primary. Thanks to Political Wire for the link.
Keep on going Ron Paul! Go crush the establishment!
Any polls to have REAL Democracy in the U.S.A. via P.R. and App.V. ???
i.e. to get rid of the MORON primaries and ANTI-Democracy gerrymanders ???
There’s that invisible “13th floor elevator” dude again.
If people really want someone who can turn the economy around, put an end to government waste, bring our troops home ASAP (by the way Ron Paul gets more support from the troops than any other candidate) someone who does not flip flop on issues and values life and liberty than Ron Paul is your man.
Ron Paul for President 2012 !!!
Go Ron Paul! He had 14% even though 78% of those polled were the age of 45 and up which is his weakest demographic because those are the ones who are more apt to be open to media propaganda.
The establishment should be concerned.
Hoping and praying that Dr. Ron Paul will be our next president!
Ron Paul 2012
Spelling error: it’s Michele Bachmann, not Michelle Bachman.
I should know, I send her enough hate mail.
And this is very good news indeed. While Ron Paul isn’t my dream candidate, he’s the only major Republican candidate I’ve ever liked.
#8, thank you.

Ron Paul is THE ONLY ANSWER to government corruption, lies, deceit, and unconstitutional wars. It’s well past time that America wake up. When America realizes the full truth about the attacks of 911, there will be a surge of support of Ron Paul.
Romney’s been playing defense this whole time.. playing not to lose. He stayed silent on the single most important issue of current times: the debt ceiling controversy. He has not shown himself to be a philosophical leader a la Ron Paul. The only support Romney gets if from Mormons and those who just want someone who the believe (falsely) has a chance against Obama.
The only person with a REAL chance against Obama is Paul. Romney has veered to the ultra-right, while Paul will be able to pick up the crucial support of independents.
Perry will implode, it’s only a matter of time.
To proponents of Ron Paul,
Would he consider a 3rd party run if the GOP establishment does what most think they will do, namely ignore Ron Paul and “select” Mitt Romney AND Paul is getting around 12% in a 3-way race with the President and Mr. Romney?
#13 I would love for Ron Paul to run as a Libertarian if he doesn’t get nominated by the GOP. But, he has stated in the past that he will NOT run under a third party banner. What is encouraging, however, is that in the past few years, those who have said they won’t run as a third party candidate typically do so just as a smoke and mirror: for example, Charlie Crist and Lisa Murkowski most recently. My hope is that the GOP will nominate him and give him the money/public attention/support that maybe the LP or any other libertarian minded third party might not be able to garner for him. This is probably one of the only times that I am going to support a candidate from one of the two major parties.
I like Ron Paul and most of his ideas. However, I like Romney and his ideas even more, and Romney has a track record of accomplishing things. But don’t take my word for it. Go read his book “No Apology”.

Rick Perry truly is the nearest person to Ronald Reagan, since Ronald Reagan.
If you want an instant turn-around for this economy, don’t miss the opportunity to vote for “My Man” Rick Perry.
#17, Rick Perry is opposed to the U.S. Supreme Court opinion Lawrence v Texas, issued in 2003, which struck down laws making consentual adult sex acts in private criminal. Perry says that case was wrongly decided.
