James Stockdale Dies

  1. Remember when he said during the debate, “I feel like I am at a ping-pong match.”

  2. I also remember two instances from the debate.

The first one when he said “Who am I? Why am I here?”

The other one was when, after a heated exchange between Gore and Quayle, the moderator asked Stockdale a question and he asked the moderator to repeat it because he had taken off his hearing aid.

  3. In the 1992 debate with Dan Quayle and Al Gore, Admiral Stockdale’s first line was, “Who am I? Why am I here?”

Ironically, in 1996, Stockdale was a delegate from California to the Republican National Convention in San Diego.

  4. If he and Perot had just stayed in instead of leaving the race for those three months of July, August, and September of 1992, I believe Perot and Stockdale would have deadlocked the election.

  5. IT IS I THE PROGRESSIVE GATO OF ROBERTO K STOCKO! REST IN PISS U WONT BE MISSED!
