  1. I took the time to verify the results, parish by parish (county-by-county) of the Democratic Primary (there was a Democratic Primary as well), and found some very interesting numbers.
President Obama lost 3 counties against a candidate named J. Wolfe. Can anyone tell me who the heck is this person?

I’m going to list the parish, the % obtained by J. Wolfe, and the % who voted against Pres. Obama.
    Cameron — J. Wolfe, 30.4% — 72.1% against Obama
    Grant — J. Wolfe 38.1% — 64.9% against Obama
    LaSalle — J. Wolfe 34.6% — 70.8% against Obama

Moreover, Pres. Obama won 36 other parishes with a significant percentage voting against him.
I’m listing the parish and the % voting against Pres. Obama. I apologize if I misspell the name of any parish.
    Union, 42.5%
    Morehouse 21.5%
    De Soto, 27.4%
    Red River, 25.1%
    Bienville, 22.2%
    Lincoln 25.7%
    Richland 25.6%
    Franklin 34.7%
    Iberville 30.4%
    St. Landry 25%
    Evangeline 45.4%
    Calcasieu 42.6%
    Acadia 44%
    Lafayette 30.6%
    St. Martin 38.8%
    Iberville 30.4%
    Ascension 41.6%
    St. Charles 41.4%
    Jefferson 34.2%
    St. Bernard 49.1%
    Terrebonne 48.2%
    Assumption 46.5%
    St. Mary 22.5%
    Catahoula 28.2%
    Concordia 29%
    Rapides 25.6%
    Avoyelles 45.1%
    Evangeline 45.4%
    St. Landry 25%
    Pointe Coupe 27%
    West Feliciana 23.8%
    East Feliciana 29.7%
    Tangipahoa 36.5%
    Washington 37.9%
    St. Tammany 30.3%
    W. Baton Rouge 23.1%

Moreover, Pres. Obama received a plurality in 9 parishes (he received more votes than the other candidates individually, but a majority voted against him). Again, I list the parish and the percentage voting against Pres. Obama

    West Carroll 61.5%
    Jefferson Davis 52.6%
    Caldwell 52.1%
    Winn 52.2%
    Sabine 58.5%
    Vernon 50.8%
    Beauregard 54.1%
    Livingston 58.5%
    LaForche 60.7%

I recognize that these are parishes with a relatively small population, and that Louisiana is a state that will probably vote for the GOP candidate in November, but it is significant that so many Democrats voted against an incumbent president of their own party, in a closed primary, who is being portrayed in the media as being “unoppossed” for the nomination.

Can anyone tell me who this J. Wolfe is?

  2. I will do the same with the Alabama Democratic primary, where President Obama lost various counties to “Uncommitted”
