Here is a link to the District of Columbia Election Board’s web page. Early returns show Jill Stein (the only name on the ballot) polling more votes than the total number of write-ins, in the Green Party’s presidential primary. Presumably the great bulk of write-ins are for Roseanne Barr.
The web page (at 1:20 a.m. eastern time) was showing these totals: Stein 200 votes; 99 write-ins.

With all due respect, your headline could have been better.
Rosanne Barr running as a Green Party candidate is a GREAT VICTORY for the Green Party. To view Rosanne Barr’s participation in the process as any thing other than a Green Party victory misses the point.
Dr. Jill Stein is running an excellent campaign, “friendly, collaborative, intelligent”.
The Greens truly need Rosanne’s heart, and the magnetic media attention she brings.
Most important: it appears Rosanne has committed to helping the Greens get on the ballot in all 50 states.
That is huge. If Rosanne brought the necessary resources to get the signatures to get Cynthia McKinney on the ballot for Congress in Georgia, and the Greens on the Presidential ballot line – it’s a Green Party game changer.
The headline states the truth! Geez!
I have philosophical differences with both these ladies, but both are FAR better candidates than B.O., Mittens, and Mr. Frothy.
