Los Angeles County elects its DA, Sheriff, and supervisors in the even-year elections. Does anyone bemoan the low turnout for these elections?
There would be little incremental cost to adding city races to the ballots, and likely a net saving over running a standalone election.
Wildermuth doesn’t have anything else to comment about this year. He could completely ignore the San Francisco city election this November, and no one would notice (the election or his lack of columns on the election).
