On April 21, a New Mexico state representative was removed from the June 3 primary ballot, because a court determined that her petition lacked the required 78 valid signatures. It is an extremely Democratic district 63% D, 17% R by registration. Ms. Jett had occasionally side with Republicans in the legislature, and drew primary opponents; as well as someone who wanted to knock her off the ballot.
