According to this story, Paul Johnson, former Mayor of Phoenix, will attempt to qualify an initiative in 2016 to convert all Arizona elections, except presidential elections, to non-partisan elections. There will be no party labels on any ballot, except for President, under the proposal.
Another MORON reform regarding legislative bodies.
Another scheme to increase the top 2 infection.
Nonpartisan OK for executive/judicial offices.

P.R. and nonpartisan App.V. — REAL reforms
Great idea, but it was done a different way in Washington State.
First voters said that no state money can be used for any political party (stationary, phone calls, etc.)
Then, under the same law, it became against the law for the state to spend on partisan primaries. No new vote was required to get to the top two. The parties did not want to spend the money to run their own primaries.
I don’t understand Demo Rep.. How would removing any partisan labeling do anything but make it so that the voters would have to actually know a little about who they are voting for to vote for them.. Are you saying that we should all be yellow dog partisan voters? Or that Democrats are less educated on their candidates so they might accidentally vote for folks that would strengthen the top 2% while leaving the lower 98 to rot?
I sincerely do not understand your sentiment and it really feels like you are saying voters aren’t smart enough to do some reading on the candidates they are voting for or actually read the bills they are voting on. Honestly I feel that if that is the case you should not vote. Mob rule (ignorantly going with the mob regardless of the intelligence of such an action) is one of the things that can destroy a good democracy and blind yellow dog voting is directly feeding this failing system’s downfall.
@Robert, that’s interesting. Ill have to read up on how that is playing out now that it’s been a year since your observation.
I apologize for my spelling. I’m afraid I’ve come to rely on auto spell check entirely too completely these days.
