  1. Heck, why not back them up to Wednesday, November 6, 2014? If one excuse is not good enough, just give them time and they will find another.

  2. The fundamental problem is segregated partisan primaries.

What is the deadline in Washington State?

  3. Washington state is one of the eleven “bad” states that lacks any procedure for a group to transform itself into a qualified party in advance of any particular election. There is no petition to create a new party in Washington state. A group can’t become a qualified party unless it runs a presidential candidate who then gets at least 5% of the vote.

  4. Typical of hypocritical Democrats and Republicans. They don’t want to provide a method for establishing a new or qualified party, because they DON’T WANT a new or qualified party! This is an excuse, pure and simple!

They also know, it is or will be rare for a group to run a Presidential candidate and obtain 5% of the vote. Until we 3rd partisans and Independents begin to work together, they are going to continue to ignore us.

I hope the day will come when Libertarians will rally together those of like mind, and Constitution(al)ists will likewise rally together those of like mind, and we can force both Democrats and Republicans into an “electoral corner” and they will have to surrender to us fair and just laws for 3rd parties and Independents.

But all of us are going to have to be willing to “give and take” in order to see this happen. This is the real question. Not CAN it happen, but WILL it happen?
