The Green Rainbow party? Is their mascot a leprechaun? Sure and begorrah that’ll go well with the Irish demographics of the state. And 3% of a statewide vote to keep party status? Taxachusetts election law really stinks! Best of luck to them.
I hope the United Independent Party gets the 50,000 registered members, but Evan Falchuk is no George Wallace. Without a name which can rally the voters, it is going to be hard to tear someone away from the Democratic Party to a new unknown political party.
But you have my best wishes, Mr. Falchuk and company!
“The Green Rainbow party? Is their mascot a leprechaun?”
Nope, a green leaf & a rainbow. The Green-Rainbow Party is the official state Green Party affiliate. They got their name after a merger with the Rainbow Coalition.
