On November 1, a Deseret News/KSL-TV presidential poll was released. It is based on 1,205 voters, sampled between October 24 and October 30. Results: McCain 57%, Obama 32%, Baldwin 2%, Barr 1%, Nader 1%, undecided or refused 7%. Thanks to Frank Fluckiger for this news.
In 2004, the presidential vote in Utah had been: Republican 71.5%, Democratic 26.0%, Nader (independent) 1.2%, Constitution .7%, Libertarian .4%.
Get out the vote and things could change. Why McCain?
Glad to see a poll include Baldwin. Too many don’t include him and therefore I think people will be shocked to see how much support he gets .
More then Barr!
But in 2004, Peroutka also outpolled Badnarik, in Utah. Utah and Nevada are the two strongest state Constitution Parties in the nation.
This site lists some of the fringe candidates. I was surprised to see who was listed.

Yep the CP outpolls LP in the ultra religious utah, and not surprising, as the CP is a religious based political party, that this would be a stronghold.
Still the numbers are sub 1% so its anyone’s game.
