  1. Could we (concerned citizens all over the geographical and political map) have some one from Kinky Friedman’s camp wade in on this issue? Also, will Carole and Kinky occationally take their separate, independent campaigns on the road together? Inquiring minds want to know!

  2. Texas’ top election official, Secretary of State Roger Miller, is a Republican appointee by Republican Gov. Perry. Make your own conclusions. I think some of it is a waste of taxpayer money to valiadate each signature. It will be labor intensive costing tens of thousands of $ when a statistical sampling could serve the same purpose. But in his defense there doesn’t appear to be centralized voter registrant rolls in Texas. I am working on the Kinky campaign in Harris County as an area captain. The campaigns are not working together and I am not aware of any planned joint appearances. With that said Kinky’s campaign director, Dean Barkley, did attend Strayhorn’s independent candidacy announcement when she dropped out of the Reublican Primary.
