Interesting that the article features a photograph from a polling place in Lancaster, PA which is where the Constitution Party is headquartered, yet no mention of that party. The article is confusing starting off talking about 500 “votes” to put Democrats on the ballot as Republicans and then talking about third party candidate “signatures.”
Also, the 5/100% (.0005) voter registration requirement seems a bit ambitious. That is the same as 1/20%. I think 1/10% might be equally reasonable while being less objectionable. Wither way, hope this passes so as to set a standard for ballot access reforms in other states.
