Does Mexico have a Libertarian Party and how did they do in the election?
Wikipedia has a good list of “libertarian political parties” — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_libertarian_political_parties — but most of the European ones are really classical liberal (free market) parties rather than minarchist (states have few legitimate functions beyond police, defense and safety protection). There is no equivalent political party in Mexico, nor in the United Kingdom or Japan or India or in most of the world’s democracies, where American Libertarian Party minarchism is considered laughable.
Correction: the United Kingdom does have a U.S.-style Libertarian Party. Anglo-Saxons seem to have a penchant for this kind of wackiness.
