HuffPost and others are now giving Jeb Bush credit for a single delegate as well, meaning six candidates walk away with something if that holds true.
These results look a little bit like 1996 — lot of candidates spitting the pie, both times the winner had about 27% of the vote… and a populist insurgent finished a couple points behind.
Ted Cruz is, of course, no Bob Dole.
I’ve yet to find a single precinct to be carried by Jeb Bush in the entire state. I saw a few for Fiorina and at least one Santorum precinct, but none that I could find for poor old Jeb!
Thanks, Austin. I updated the post so that it now says six candidates get at least one delegate.
Richard, NBC News is now crediting delegates to nine candidates, all the way down to Huckabee. Not sure if that’s accurate – are you familiar with the process for breaking this down?
