On October 5, the only general election U.S. Senate debate in California this year took place. Because voters must vote for either Loretta Sanchez, or Kamala Harris (both Democrats), or not vote at all, obviously they were the only two candidates invited. Leave the ballot blank if you don’t want to vote .Also these two lady’s are minorities so vote for either one out of respect unless your an outright racist .

@William: What if you’re not an outright racist, but don’t want to vote? You just told those people that they should both leave the ballot blank AND vote for one candidate or the other, which is paradoxical.
Also, if you are going to suggest that your political opponents are racists, you might want to look into your own sexism in terms of voting for female candidates based on their looks.
