This Metro article about the special Pennsylvania legislature election says that even though Cheri Honkala, Green Party nominee, is a write-in candidate, she could still win. No Democrat is on the ballot either.

I hope she can, because an election with only one person on the ballot, especially when there are other candidates in the race who were taken off due to filing errors (whether their fault or not), is a complete disgrace. I wish Cheri the best of luck, because we need more elected Greens, and frankly, just more elected third-parties overall, in this country.
She could win. The GOP candidate is likely to nab only 20% at most with all the write-ins running.
She’s been endorsed by ‘Our Revolution’ and multiple unions. Because of her write-in status, she’s engaged in intensive voter education on how district 197 can vote for her.
I think if she wins its because of unions driving turnout for her
She will likely win but I if there any polls of her and her rival.
Is the Democratic nominee who was tossed of the ballot as well, conducting a write-in campaign?
The one who was *tossed* off the ballot, Freddie Ramirez, doesn’t live in the district — so he’s ineligible. The one who was too late to get onto the ballot as a replacement for Ramirez, Emilio Vazquez, may be running a write-in campaign, but this article I found linked at the story whose link Richard gave above:

didn’t know yet.
Thanks!
I agree with him and I think she will likely win!
